What the warning says

Spain's securities regulator, the CNMV, named BitNest and bitnest.me in a warning dated 27 April 2026. It said the entity was not authorised to conduct specified crypto-asset services that require prior authorisation. If you are considering an offer involving this domain, check the exact service and provider before sending money.

The scope of the finding

The warning concerns the named entity and domains and the crypto-asset activities described in the CNMV notice. An authorisation warning is not, by itself, a court finding of fraud, and it does not establish the outcome of any individual transaction. Similar names or later websites should not automatically be treated as the same operator.

What you can do if affected

Keep your transaction records and communications, and contact your bank or payment provider promptly if you are concerned about a payment. Check relevant official registers for the exact entity and activity in your jurisdiction. Do not share private wallet phrases, passwords or one-time codes.

If you have been affected, you can contact the desk.
